MakerWorld
What Is MakerWorld?
MakerWorld is Bambu Lab's model library. You open a model in Bambu Studio and slice it. Printables and Thingiverse are different libraries.

What MakerWorld is
MakerWorld is Bambu Lab's model library. The name is MakerWorld, one word. Bambu's own slicer tour points there when you want a first model: open Bambu Studio, then grab a model from MakerWorld. Bambu Studio is the slicer that ships with an A1, A1 Mini, P1, or X1.
A model is not a print until software turns it into paths the nozzle can follow. That is the same idea as the slicing video on the beginner video list.
How a beginner uses it
Print the file that came with the machine before you download anything. On a Bambu A1 Mini, that path is the setup guide. Then pick a simple model on MakerWorld, open it in Bambu Studio, stay on the PLA preset, and read the preview before you send it.
If the printer is not a Bambu, start in the slicer that came with it. The Bambu Studio clip will not set up Creality Print or PrusaSlicer.
Printables and Thingiverse
Printables is Prusa's model library. Thingiverse is a public model library. On both, you download a file and slice it for the printer you own. MakerWorld is the Bambu library, and the path above is Bambu Studio.
We do not publish model counts or download numbers for any of the three. One beginner video mentions old Thingiverse counts from around 2021. Do not treat that figure as a current total.
Who should skip this page
Skip it if the printer is not a Bambu
If you only need a model file, download one and use the slicer that came with your printer. MakerWorld is the Bambu library.
Skip it before the sample print
Print the file that came with the machine first. MakerWorld is the next model, not the unboxing step.
Who it's not for
A ranking of model sites by downloads. We do not publish model counts or download numbers.

What Is 3D Printing?
A 3D printer melts filament in a nozzle and stacks it layer by layer. It is good for a plastic part that fits the bed. It is not a food printer.
